MouseTask

MouseTask can be used to record and play back mouse clicks and keystrokes. It is an excellent solution for automating repetitive tasks and the best part is that everything can be done on the fly, with only a few clicks. The application comes with some additional features, which give you more control over your recordings. Whenever you need to perform a complex operation, you can let this lightweight utility do everything for you.

MouseTask is absolutely free, but donations are welcomed, if you wish to support the developers. It is compatible with all popular Windows versions and it doesn't have any special requirements. Downloading and installing the application takes only a few seconds and it doesn't involve any complicated settings.

The application has a small user interface, with only a few options, which is exactly what you need to record your macros. All you have to do is hit the Record button, perform the actions which you want to be repeated and click the Stop button. Alternatively, you can start and stop recording via keyboard shortcuts.

To play back your recording, simply click the Play button watch as the application takes over your mouse cursor. You can also loop the playback once or multiple times. Before you record anything, you can choose to limit the recording to the mouse or keyboard, just by clicking the appropriate check boxes.

Recordings can be saved as scripts, which you may load whenever you need to execute the recorded actions. The software comes with a built-in script editor, which gives you the possibility of making fine adjustments. What's more, MouseTask includes a special utility for converting scripts to AutoIt Code.
